About Katie

Katie Neal, ACC, is a certified executive coach, award-winning communications leader, and sought-after speaker and facilitator.

As the CEO and principal of Katie Neal Consulting & Coaching, she helps high achievers lead with intention and advance their careers. Katie works primarily with senior professionals — including many women and communications leaders — who are ready to elevate their influence and impact.

Her 20-year career includes leading strategic communications and marketing functions, advising executives, guiding organizations through growth and change, and building strong, results-driven teams. That experience — sitting at the intersection of leadership, messaging, and decision-making — now informs her coaching, where she helps accomplished professionals think more strategically, communicate more intentionally, and lead with greater clarity and confidence.

Katie previously served as Vice President of Communications and Marketing at TimelyCare, Assistant Vice President of News & Communications at Wake Forest University, and as an independent communications consultant. A former broadcast journalist, she also worked at PR agencies in Sacramento, Calif., San Francisco, Singapore, and Winston-Salem, N.C.

Katie earned her B.A. in communication from Wake Forest University and her certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance at American University. She holds an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential and is an active member of the ICF Ohio Valley Chapter.
